Telia has for the third year in a row the Danish romantic mobile habits examined on the occasion of Valentine’s day.
Flirting and romanticism of the mobile phone has increased significantly since last year at this time, according to a new study from Telia and YouGov. The phone company has for the third year in a row the romantic mobile habits examined in Denmark, and quite generally speaking, the proportion of Danes who flirts over the phone has increased from 32 percent to 45 percent.
The large group mobile flirtatious Danes are led by the 18 to 34-year-olds, where the entire 76 percent have used their phone to make overtures to each other.
“It’s always interesting to see how the Danes use their mobile phones. The new analysis shows that twice as many men as women have sent a valentinshilsen over the phone, but still, it is mainly women who dream of more flirty text messages, “ says Mette Honoré, who is Communications Director at Telia.
The geography come into play
According to the study, it is clear that it is the big cities that draw loaded when it comes to romances of phones, both with activity and satisfaction. The metropolitan area is the most sms-flirty region, while Northern Jutland lies in the rankings.
It is also the younger men and women in the major cities that are most satisfied with their own romantic activity on the cell phone. The entire 50 percent more city-dwellers than North jutlanders thinks that they send enough loving text messages to their girlfriend or spouse.
