According to the admissions office, your GMAT score, work experience, and college GPA are considered most important, and then, in descending order, your interview, essays, and letters of recommendation. They note, “Interviews are strongly encouraged and considered on a part with work experience.” Applications are handled on a rolling admissions basis. It generally takes two to six weeks “depending on the backlog” for a student to be notified of a decision after receiving the completed application. Students may defer admissions for up to one year for personal reasons.

Each year, 15 MBA students will be selected as Mitte Fellows, which carries a $5,000 award. Quarter- and half-time graduate assistantships are also available for a few first-year MBA students.
