ADMISSION CRITERIA
GMAT scores tops the list of admissions criteria at Babcock, followed by work experience, undergrad GPA, interview, recommendations, and leadership abilities. Writes the school, “The admissions committee evaluates the applicant’s scholastic ability for graduate study, character qualities, motivation, and managerial potential. Interviews are strongly recommended and required for applicants who lack full-time work experience. Applicants who schedule interviews are matched with a student host who takes them to class, gives them a tour of the facility, and takes them to lunch.”
COST AND FINANCIAL AID
Individuals have a number of options available to them to finance the cost of earning their MBAs. The Babcock School makes every effort to provide financial assistance to qualified students and offers financial assistance programs including merit-based scholarships, assistantships during the second year, and private and governmental loan programs. More than 50 percent of Babcock’s student body receives scholarships. The most prestigious among them is Dean’s Scholars Program These scholarships, full-tuition plus stipend scholarships are awarded to as many as 10 students in each incoming class who are U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents. Only students with exceptional GMAT scores, a solid academic record and at least two years of significant work experience are considered for these awards. Joint degree students are not eligible.
