ADMISSION CRITERIA
The admission office reports that it accepts applications during one long “continuous cycle” that goes from November to March. Students are notified of a decision generally within six weeks of a files’ completion, except for the final deadline. Haas rarely grants deferments. According to Berkeley, “The admissions committee reviews files and makes decisions continuously. Applicants who apply in one of the earlier rounds have a stronger chance of being admitted.” the Haas School is also a member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, which offers scholarships to talented minority students. The following criteria are considered in descending order of importance: the essays, college GPA or academic record, GMAT score, work experience, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, and the interview.
COST AND FINANCIAL AID
MBA program resources for financial aid are limited; therefore, most aid must be derived from the federal government.
