ADMISSION CRITERIA
The admissions committee considers the following criteria (not necessarily in order of importance): work experience, GMAT scores, college GPA, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and the required essays. According to the admissions office, “We require a minimum of two years of work experience, but prefer three or more, particularly for our three-semester program. An undergraduate business degree is required for our three-semester program. There are no specific curricular requirements for our two-year MBA, although the school does advise applicants to have academic preparation in statistics. We highly recommend interviewing; we conduct off-campus interviews with MBA alumni as well as schedule on-campus interviews. Applicants should have a demonstrated history of leadership through professional or community activities. Students are advised to apply as early as possible, especially if requesting fellowship consideration.

COST AND FINANCIAL AID
Notre Dame offers its MBA students two major merit-based financial assistances: MBA Fellowships and Assistantships. Fellowships are awarded by the MBA Admissions Committee to both domestic and international candidates who show high academic achievement during their undergraduate years, strong aptitude as measured by the GMAT® and an impressive record of work experience coupled with demonstrated leadership. On the other hand, a limited number of graduate and research assistantships may be available for MBA students to work with faculty. These are student-initiated with individual faculty members upon the student’s arrival on campus.
