Have you ever started a diet, gave up and found yourself returning to old eating habits? This situation is more common than you think. Limiting convictions are things that you believe in and that make you doubt that you succeed. You become scared, you feel unable, blocked, and lack motivation to act.
Identify which thoughts are preventing you from taking action and turn those limiting convictions into empowering convictions that put you on the threshold of determination and security to act.
4. BUILD A “NEW IDENTITY” ALIGNED WITH A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
To have a healthier lifestyle, which will make you have the body you have always wanted, you need to change your identity. This does not mean that you will become a “other person,” but rather you will have thoughts that will encourage adherence to long-term eating habits.
It is important to define who this healthy person should be, how he or she acts, what abilities he needs to develop, what personality traits can help him or her in the process, what people around him or her can support.
Remember to start to change the way you think. Find out where you want to go, who you want to be and then act! Only in this way will you create sustained changes and be able to lose weight effectively.
