ADMISSION CRITERIA
UW considers a prospective student’s work experience an important factor in the selection process. Wisconsin is also looking for students with strong GMAT scores, good grade point averages, good references, and a dynamite essay. Wisconsin admits by major, so essays should address the student’s interest in a specific field of study. Interviews are not required, but a campus visit is encouraged. The deadline for fall admission is May 1, for spring October 1. The deadline for merit-based financial aid is February 15. However, students with exceptional academic qualifications should apply by January 1 to be considered for All-University Fellowships. Wisconsin is a founding member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, which offers full-tuition scholarships for talented minority students.
